The Guaviare Initiative
"Everything began with a cup of coffee and a dream."
321,200 hectares of virgin rainforest resisting oblivion and greed.
A sacred land, an ancestral biological corridor, home to native species,
indigenous peoples, and untamed dreams.
The Land
Colombian Amazons La Fortuna and El Porvenir are not just names on a map – they are living, breathing worlds. This sprawling terrain in Vaupés, Colombia is part of the greatest rainforest on Earth, drenched by tributaries of the Amazon and Orinoco. Every inch teems with life. Tropical forests like these are biodiversity hotspots – housing 80% of the world’s amphibian species, 75% of its birds, and 68% of its mammals . Jaguars prowl at night, brightly-colored macaws swoop through the canopy by day, and
healing plants unknown to science grow in the understory. Protecting this land means protecting
countless species — many found nowhere else. Thanks to innovative carbon credit financing, our
project can expand and restore another 260,000 hectares here, turning this region into a blueprint for sustainable conservation.

Our Benefactor

Don Benjamín Galvez Londoño
Don Benjamín Gálvez Londoño, benefactor, entrusts this land not to a government or NGO, but to the people of the world. Through a messenger he names Edward Drago, new Guardian of the Green Kingdom.
(A legacy of hope and renewal for generations to come.)
- This kingdom, comprising a fortune of 9,200 hectares and an additional 50,000 hectares in Vaupés. This initiative will be the cornerstone of the Armon-IA project, which will eventually expand to include 260,000 more hectares through the creation of the Association of Benefactors for Humanity—the bedrock upon which this visionary effort is built.
- At the helm of this noble cause, Humanitarian Eduardo Flores Sanchez and his team have made a solemn commitment to protect and expand this mission.
- Under his leadership, Armon-IA is born—an organization devoted to the ethical management of carbon credits and the financial backbone of this bold green endeavor.
